CIVIL LITIGATION
Civil litigation is the process in which civil matters are resolved in a court of law. Civil matters can be described as situations dealing with relationships between people. Rather than a case being a person versus the government, as in a criminal matter, civil cases are an individual or business filing suit against another person or entity.
Civil litigation encompasses a range of different legal issues, including everything from breach of contract, to personal injury, to sexual harassment. That’s why Elliott & Davis’s civil litigation practice is founded on the diversity of its attorneys’ experiences, abilities, and expertise. We take very seriously the rights of our clients and apply the highest standards of professionalism to ensure that their rights are vindicated. Our civil litigation practice includes: personal injury, workers’ compensation, employment discrimination, breach of contract, civil rights litigation, and landlord-tenant disputes.
